Gaming was an enjoyable experience.not much payback on the slots, but the dealers and staff of the table games are very nice and personable. The rate was good, $126 for a Sunday night in mid-Feburary.can imagine this is as low as it gets since it is not peak season for travelling to mid-Michigan.but whatever.we were pleased and felt the value was good. There was no line and the help was very professional and friendly. The website says check-in is at 4pm, but we got there around 1pm and checked in with no problem. Everything was clean, well decorated, spacious, and check in was a breeze. Good news or bad news first? I 'll go with the good news: Excellent room. Although my overall experience was good, there were things that needed improvement.
It is about 2.5 hours drive away from where we live in Michigan. My husband and I had a short but much needed stay at the Soaring Eagle hotel and casino.
